Project Description

We specialize in childhood behavioral health counseling services.

We offer individual and group counseling services – online or in-person – for families, kids, and teens, as well as individual adults. We strive to maintain a whole family approach to mental wellness whenever possible. Some of the disorders we treat include:

  • ADHD. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders can be successfully managed. Research shows that behavior therapy is an important part of treatment for children with ADHD. Behavior therapy can include behavior therapy training for parents, behavior therapy with children or a combination.
  • Childhood Anxiety. The most frequently diagnosed emotional and behavioral health disorder in children, 1 in 5 children suffers from anxiety. Knowing what causes your child’s anxiety in certain situations can help him or her overcome it.
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders. Common symptoms include difficulty with communication and social interactions, obsessive interests, and repetitive behaviors. Early identification, as well as behavioral, educational, and family therapies may reduce symptoms and support development and learning.

  • Depression. Childhood depression often goes undiagnosed and untreated because symptoms are passed off as normal growth stages. The primary symptoms of depression are sadness, feeling hopeless, low energy, and mood changes.

  • Oppositional Defiant/Conduct Disorders. The oppositional child can be one of the most difficult to parent due to the ongoing pattern of defiant behavior towards authority. With conduct disorders in teens and young adults, aggressive and violent behaviors are common.

  • Childhood Sleep Disorders. Sleep disorders in infants, children, and teens are common and are associated with a host of problems such as poor academics, social difficulties, developmental delays, and abnormal weight. A child’s sleep issues can have adverse effects on the entire family.
